Executive and personal coaching is a really useful technique to help you to reach your goals and to feel empowered
I was at the hairdresser at the weekend. I've been going there for years and she now works from home, so there are often several women sitting at various stages of colour, highlights, cuts and blow-dries all passing the time of day.

On the table was the latest diet book - where you fast for two days and eat normally for five.  It has certainly hit the shops by storm and I can see that it could work.  Deprivation for two days sounds more bearable than a long term diet!

I was struck by the number of women who had been on a different diet pretty permanently for the last few years and I wondered what was going wrong.  I know dieting is hard so I'm not for a minute saying they are weak for not succeeding.  However, they are as a group, very successful in other aspects of their lives so it isn't that they don't know how to achieve their goals.

My hunch is that for some of them it's not that important, a few pounds off would be good but not good enough to make the efffort.

For others I think the diet becomes the goal rather than the end result.  Focusing on losing weight can only lead to a lot misery and being hungry!  Focusing on how you want to look or the dress you want to buy or the size you want to be gives you a positive goal and one you can imagine and make tangible.

I know from myself and working with others that all of this is easier said than done.  We often get stuck and just can't find a way to get over that hurdle.

Executive and personal coaching is a really useful technique to help you to reach your goals and to feel empowered.

Our workshop on Friday 5th April will help you to feel positive about yourself and to look good too.
