I was very sorry this week to learn of the sudden death of one of our associates Penelope Young.  I met Penny a while back when she joined us at one of our workshops. She was a delightful woman and a brilliant coach who worked in both business as an executive coach and also with individuals as a life coach. She really embraced life and followed in her daily life the practices she offered to others to empower themselves, build their confidence and have a fulfilled life.  In one of her last diary entries she wrote:

“I thought last night about the things that make me happy. Being fit and healthy, reading, writing, dancing. An ordered flat, fresh flowers, good relationship with family and friends, clothes, colours, sunshine, warmth. Why not just focus on having more happiness. Let go of fear. That’s the secret. Nothing to do with age. Just finding out what makes me happy and doing more of it. Relax and take each day as an amazing gift’

We can all learn a lot from her philosophy.  Knowing we have lived our life to our full potential even it is sadly cut short is important for both us and our families.
